“Battle Of The Bands”
November 17th & 18th 2023
Battle Of The Bands will be a part of “Eclectic Sounds Entertainment LLC’s”, “Fall Fest 2023”.
All bands agree to the following rules and regulations upon submitting videos for registration.
General Rules:
• All bands must contain a minimum of three (3) members. However all members must
agree that they have read and understand the registration process. If you have any
questions, please clear them up with the coordinator prior to submitting video.
• All band members must be 21 years of age or older.
• The 6 bands that are chosen for the “Fall Fest, Battle Of The Bands”. Will be required to
sign an “entertainer performance contract, and may bring one roadie to assist them with
set-up and break-down and that person must also be listed along with the band members.
• Only band members and the roadie listed on the registration form will be admitted on
stage.
• The chosen 6 bands will play November 17th , in the evening. There will be 2 bands
selected to come back on November 18th, in the evening to compete against each other to
declare the winner.
• Winner will receive a trophy, a 4 hour recording session, larger event spot and money.
There will also be something for the runner up.
• All bands agree to have their name, voice, and/or likeness used in any advertising or
broadcasting material relating to this contest without compensation or rights to royalties
for such use
• On the day of performance, band members must be dressed in clothing free from
obscenities.
• Band name and lyrics of performance songs should not contain any obscenities if
possible.
• The use of any illegal substances will not be tolerated. If any band member is suspected
to be under the influence of an illegal substance, the entire band will be disqualified and
the proper authorities will be notified
• All band members are required to be present at least 30 minutes prior to performance
time to check in with the coordinator. If all band members are not present and ready to
set up for performance 15 minutes before going on stage, the band will be disqualified.
• All participants are required to be courteous and respectful toward other participating
musicians.
• “The Battle of the Bands” finalists (6) performers (November 17th, 2023) must play 6
songs. Each band’s set must fill approximately 20 minutes but must not exceed 25
minutes.
• “The Battle of the Bands” finalists (2) performers (November 18th, 2023) must play 8
songs. Each band’s set must fill approximately 35 minutes but must not exceed 45
minutes.
• All competing bands are strongly encouraged to partake in discount ticket sales
promotion for the advantage of crowd applause, which will be one of the criteria for
which judging is based.
• Any distasteful behavior, and or damage to the “Seymour Armory” will result in the
automatic disqualification at the hands of “Eclectic Sounds Entertainment LLC” and
“judges”.
• There is no registration charge for any band or performer
• Each competing band receives 2 complementary VIP tickets in order to gain awareness
and build their fan-base for the show. All other tickets will be full price of $10
Eclectic Sounds Entertainment LLC, will be providing the PA, Lights, and Drum Set. Drummers can
bring cymbals, snare, sticks and pedal. All other players bring amps and instruments.
